Summary
This study tests whether eating pecans daily for three months can improve memory, mood, and overall brain function in people aged 50 and older with mild cognitive impairment. Sixty participants will be randomly assigned to eat either pecans or pretzels as a snack. Researchers will also look at changes in gut bacteria, inflammation, and gut-brain signals to understand how the snack might help.
