Peanut doses tested to tame Kids' allergies

NCT ID NCT04415593

Summary

This study tested whether giving children with peanut allergy small, increasing amounts of peanut protein could help them build tolerance. 44 children were randomly assigned to receive either a 150mg or 300mg daily maintenance dose. The main goal was to see how many children could eventually tolerate a single, larger dose of peanut protein without a serious reaction.
