Heart device for kids gets 3-Year safety check

Summary
This study is checking the long-term safety and effectiveness of a small device used to close a common heart birth defect called Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA). It will follow about 255 patients, mostly children, for up to three years after the device is implanted. Doctors will monitor patients' hearts to see if the device successfully closes the defect and track any related health problems.
