Summary
This early-stage study tests a new vaccine (PCV24) designed to protect children from 24 types of pneumococcal bacteria, which can cause serious infections like pneumonia and meningitis. About 230 healthy children aged 2 months to 17 years will receive the vaccine or a placebo to check its safety and how well it triggers an immune response. The goal is to see if the vaccine is safe and prepares the body to fight these bacteria.
