Summary
This early-stage trial tests a new vaccine (PCV24) designed to protect children from 24 types of pneumococcal bacteria, which can cause pneumonia, meningitis, and ear infections. About 230 healthy children aged 2 months to 17 years will receive the vaccine or a placebo/control. The main goal is to check safety and how well the vaccine triggers the immune system.
