First seen Dec 08, 2025 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study is testing a 20-valent pneumococcal vaccine (PCV20) in 114 children, adolescents, and young adults aged 2-25 who have autoimmune rheumatic diseases like juvenile arthritis. The goal is to see if the vaccine triggers a strong immune response and is safe, especially for those on immune-suppressing medications. Participants will receive the vaccine based on their past shots, and researchers will track antibody levels and side effects for up to 6 months.
