New combo pill tested to boost fertility in women with common hormone disorder
NCT ID NCT07266259
Summary
This study is testing whether a combination of two supplements, levocarnitine and myoinositol, works better than myoinositol alone for women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) who have insulin resistance and difficulty getting pregnant. Researchers will enroll 72 women to take one of the two supplement regimens for three months. The main goal is to see if the combination improves the body's response to insulin and balances hormone levels more effectively.
