First seen May 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 14, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study looks at 150 women with PCOS who are having trouble getting pregnant and are undergoing a type of IVF called ICSI. The goal is to see which medicine combination—metformin alone, metformin plus myoinositol, or metformin plus pioglitazone—works best to improve fertilization and pregnancy rates. Participants take the assigned pills daily for one month before their IVF cycle, and researchers track egg quality, fertilization, pregnancy, and side effects.
