PCOS diagnosis could hide rare, dangerous genetic disorder

Summary

This study aims to spot a rare, serious genetic disorder that can look like common PCOS. Researchers will compare 25 women with a known genetic insulin disorder to 50 women with typical PCOS. They will measure blood sugar, hormones, and body fat to find key differences for earlier, more accurate diagnosis.
