Summary
This study looked at whether birth control pills, metformin (a diabetes drug), or both together work better for reducing metabolic syndrome risk in overweight women with PCOS. 240 women took part over 6 months. The goal was to see which treatment best lowers the chance of developing diabetes and heart disease.
