First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study looks at whether taking levocarnitine together with myoinositol works better than myoinositol alone for improving insulin resistance and hormone levels in women with PCOS who have trouble getting pregnant. About 72 women aged 18-40 with PCOS and insulin resistance will take either the combination or myoinositol alone twice daily for 3 months. The goal is to see if the combo helps more with insulin resistance and fertility-related hormones.
