New hope for PCOS fertility: could adding thyroid medication boost pregnancy chances?

NCT ID NCT06041204

Summary

This study is testing whether adding a thyroid medication (levothyroxine) to a standard fertility drug (letrozole) works better than the fertility drug alone for women who have both PCOS and a mild thyroid condition. Researchers will compare how often women in each group ovulate, get pregnant, and have live births. The goal is to find the most effective treatment combination for this specific group of women struggling with infertility.
