Can simple supplements ease a rare lung disease?

NCT ID NCT06959251

Summary

This study is testing if daily supplements of glycine and magnesium+thiamine can help people with primary ciliary dyskinesia (PCD), a rare lung disease. Sixty participants will take one of the supplements, a combination, or a placebo powder for six months alongside their usual care. Researchers will check if the supplements reduce lung flare-ups, improve breathing, and enhance quality of life.
