Summary
This study tests if a drug called patiromer can safely allow people on dialysis to eat more potassium-rich foods without dangerous side effects. About 40 adults on chronic dialysis will take either patiromer or a placebo. The goal is to see if the drug can relax strict diet rules while keeping potassium levels safe, improving quality of life.
