First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 03, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study looked at whether patients are happy when an AI notetaker listens in on their doctor's appointment and creates a summary. 191 adults completed questionnaires before and after their visit. Some patients received an AI summary of their appointment, some got a summary plus a next-steps plan, and others got standard care. The goal was to learn how patients feel about AI in healthcare and whether it improves their satisfaction.
