First seen May 05, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study looks at whether what patients expect before treatment for early Lyme disease (a red rash called erythema migrans) influences how well they recover. Researchers will follow 200 patients for up to a year, checking for lingering symptoms and comparing them with healthy people of the same age. The goal is to understand if mindset plays a role in post-Lyme symptoms.
