First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study tested whether adding a virtual coach to an online insomnia program helps veterans sleep better. 244 veterans with insomnia took part. The program teaches healthy sleep habits, and the coach provides phone support to keep veterans engaged. The goal was to see if coaching leads to greater improvements in sleep than the online program alone.
