Could special glasses replace the eye patch for kids with lazy eye?

NCT ID NCT05440448

Summary

This study is testing whether a new 'patch-free' treatment for lazy eye (amblyopia) works better than the standard eye patch treatment. Children ages 3-12 will be randomly assigned to either watch videos through special glasses or wear a traditional adhesive eye patch for 12 weeks at home. The main goal is to see which method improves vision more and if kids stick with the glasses treatment better than the patch.
