First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 36 times

Summary

This study looked at how eating meat and eggs from pastured (grass-fed) versus conventional farms changes health markers in middle-aged adults. Over 16 weeks, 80 participants ate either pastured or conventional chicken, beef, pork, and eggs. Researchers measured omega-3 fatty acids, inflammation, and other blood and urine markers to see if farming practices make a difference.
