New combo therapy aims to keep ovarian cancer at bay

NCT ID NCT07472140

First seen Apr 07, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study tests whether a combination of two drugs (a PARP inhibitor and an angiogenesis inhibitor) can help keep advanced ovarian, fallopian-tube, or primary peritoneal cancer from coming back after initial treatment. About 120 adults with a specific genetic feature (HRD) will receive the combo as maintenance therapy. The goal is to see if this approach extends the time without cancer returning.
