First seen May 01, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study follows 640 people—including those with Parkinsonism, a sleep disorder called REM sleep behavior disorder, and healthy volunteers—for 5 years. Researchers use brain scans, blood tests, and movement assessments to see how the diseases progress and to improve diagnosis. The goal is to better understand these conditions, not to test a new treatment.
