Video games meet real objects: new hope for Parkinson's hand function?

NCT ID NCT07475741

Summary

This study is testing a new type of hand therapy for people with early-stage Parkinson's disease. It combines video game exercises (exergaming) with the use of real physical objects like blocks and cups. Researchers want to see if this 'phygital' approach is better at improving hand movement and daily function than using video games alone. The study will involve 30 participants who will do therapy sessions three times a week for 12 weeks.
