Brain scan study aims to predict Parkinson's before symptoms start

NCT ID NCT07265596

Summary

This study aims to find early signs of Parkinson's disease in the brain before movement problems appear. Researchers will use a special brain scan called [18F] AV-133 PET imaging on about 100 people at risk for Parkinson's. Participants will be followed for up to two years to see if the scans can predict who will develop the disease.
