Brain cell transplant trial offers new hope for Parkinson's patients

Summary
This study is testing whether transplanting specially grown brain cells into people with Parkinson's disease can improve their movement and reduce symptoms. About 102 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the cell transplant or a sham surgery for comparison, and all will take immune-suppressing drugs. Researchers will follow participants for up to five years to see if the treatment helps control Parkinson's symptoms and is safe.
