New exercise program aims to help Parkinson's patients walk safer and fall less
NCT ID NCT07013214
Summary
This study is testing whether a special rehabilitation program that combines physical and mental tasks (dual-task exercise) is better than standard rehab at improving balance and reducing the risk of falls in people with Parkinson's disease. Researchers will enroll 74 participants with early-to-moderate Parkinson's to compare the two exercise programs over two months. The main goal is to see if the new approach helps patients feel more confident, move more safely, and improve their daily independence and quality of life.
