Scientists track families to crack code on preventing childhood obesity

Summary
This study aims to identify the most effective parenting strategies to prevent obesity in children who are naturally highly motivated by food. Researchers will follow 205 parent-child pairs for 18 months as children transition from preschool to elementary school. The study will compare different parenting approaches to see which ones best support healthy eating habits and growth in food-motivated children.
