Virtual parenting classes aim to ease stress for families of genetically vulnerable kids
NCT ID NCT06125093
Summary
This study tested whether a 22-week online parenting program could help families of young children (ages 3-7) with genetic abnormalities and related developmental or behavioral challenges. Fifty-three families were randomly assigned to either participate in the weekly group sessions or continue with their usual care. The goal was to see if the program was practical to run and if it helped reduce parental stress and improve children's social skills and behavior.
