Summary

This study looked at a program called ParentCorps in 81 high-poverty New York City schools. The goal was to see if helping parents and teachers work together could improve young children's mental health and behavior. About 458 families with pre-K and kindergarten children took part, filling out surveys and allowing researchers to check school records. The study did not test a treatment or cure, but rather gathered information to understand what works.
