Can parent training change an Infant's developmental path?
NCT ID NCT03404505
Summary
This study tested whether a short-term coaching program for parents could improve social and communication skills in infants showing early signs of developmental delay. Researchers compared parents who received specific play-based coaching at home to those who received general child development education. The goal was to see if teaching parents new engagement strategies could positively influence their infant's developmental trajectory.
