Can training parents rewire brains of children with autism?
NCT ID NCT07393893
Summary
This study is testing whether a 10-week parent training program called Project IMPACT can help improve social interaction and communication skills in young children with autism. Researchers will enroll 80 children and randomly assign them to either receive the parent-led training or continue their usual care. The team will measure changes in the children's behavior and use safe brain scans to see if the training affects how their brains process social information.
