NCT ID NCT07178977

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study tests whether a four-week education program for parents can help teens with anorexia nervosa gain weight and feel better. Seventy teens aged 11-19 and their parents will be split into two groups: one gets the program right away, the other waits a month. The program teaches parents about eating disorders and how to support healthy eating at home. Researchers will track changes in the teen's body mass index (BMI) and symptoms of anxiety and depression.
