First seen Nov 19, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study looked at whether having parents exercise with their children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) helps the kids be more active and improve their motor skills. Forty children with ASD, ages 4 to 11, took part in an 8-week program. Some children exercised with a parent, some exercised alone, and a control group did not exercise. The study measured physical activity levels and gross motor skills before and after the program.
