This study aimed to see if a paravertebral block (a type of nerve block) reduces pain after open pancreatic surgery compared to no block. Researchers planned to enroll many patients but stopped early with only 2 participants. The goal was to measure pain scores, hospital stay length, and complications in the first 48 hours after surgery.
