New scan could spot hidden heart valve infections

Summary
This study tests whether a special type of PET scan can better diagnose infections in artificial heart valves. About 30 adults with suspected valve infections will receive this scan, and results will be compared to standard methods. The goal is to improve accuracy and speed of diagnosis.
