NCT ID NCT05408754

First seen Apr 15, 2026 · Last updated Apr 24, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tested two new heart procedures that use pulsed field energy to treat persistent atrial fibrillation (a type of irregular heartbeat). 89 adults who had not responded to medication took part. The goal was to see if the procedures are safe and can stop the abnormal signals causing the irregular heartbeat. Participants were followed for one year to check for side effects and how well the treatment worked.
