Summary

This study tests if a medicine called papaverine, given through a vein, can safely shorten the pushing stage of labor in pregnant women who had a balloon catheter to start labor. About 184 women will receive either the medicine or a placebo. The goal is to see if it reduces labor time without causing harm to mother or baby.
