Summary
This study aims to create a simple risk score to identify patients with pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (PanNETs) who are at high risk of their cancer returning after surgery. Current methods are not very good at predicting individual risk. Researchers will analyze data from over 550 patients who had surgery to remove their PanNETs, looking for factors linked to recurrence. The goal is to develop a tool that doctors can use to personalize follow-up care and treatment decisions.
