Tiny tube tested to prevent painful complication after common procedure
NCT ID NCT04408482
Summary
This study aims to see if placing a small temporary tube (stent) in the pancreas during a difficult bile duct procedure lowers the risk of a painful complication called pancreatitis. It will compare patients who get the stent to those who do not. The goal is to make this common endoscopic procedure safer for patients.
