Feeding tube vs. regular eating after pancreas procedure: which works better?
NCT ID NCT07395778
Summary
This study compares two feeding methods for patients recovering from a serious pancreas complication. After doctors drain infected pancreas fluid, patients will either eat normally or receive liquid nutrition through a feeding tube that bypasses the stomach. Researchers want to see which approach leads to better nutrition, fewer infections, and faster recovery.
