Finding the sweet spot: how long should a protective pancreatic stent stay in?

NCT ID NCT07346365

Summary

This study aims to find the safest time to remove a small, temporary tube (stent) placed in the pancreas during a procedure called ERCP. Researchers will compare removing the stent within 10 days to leaving it in place for 4 weeks to 3 months. The goal is to see which timing causes fewer complications and side effects for patients.
