New test aims to guide doctors on dangerous pancreatic cysts

NCT ID NCT06894329

Summary

This study is testing whether a new lab test called PanCystPro helps doctors decide how to monitor or treat pancreatic cysts. The test analyzes fluid from a cyst to tell if it's a type that rarely becomes cancer or a type that has a higher risk. Researchers will see if getting this test result changes the doctor's planned care for 50 patients with these cysts.
