New scan aims to spot dangerous pancreatic cysts before surgery
NCT ID NCT05873699
Summary
This study is testing a new type of MRI scan to see if it can help doctors tell the difference between harmless and potentially cancerous pancreatic cysts. The research involves 20 adults who already have a pancreatic cyst and are scheduled for surgery to remove it. Participants will receive the experimental scan before their operation so researchers can compare the scan results with what the actual removed tissue shows under a microscope.
