Promising combo for pancreatic cancer? trial cut short after enrolling only 3 patients
NCT ID NCT04975516
First seen Mar 14, 2026 · Last updated Jun 09, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study tested whether adding a precise type of radiation (SBRT) to standard chemotherapy could help people with pancreatic cancer that has spread to a limited number of places in the body. The goal was to see if the combination could better control tumors, delay further spread, and improve survival. However, the trial was stopped early and only enrolled 3 participants, so no firm conclusions can be drawn.
