New chemo combo tested in battle against aggressive pancreatic cancer
NCT ID NCT03443492
Summary
This study tested whether a chemotherapy combination called SLOG works better than the standard treatment (mFOLFIRINOX) for people with advanced pancreatic cancer that cannot be removed by surgery. It involved 130 patients in Taiwan and measured how long the cancer stayed under control without getting worse. The main goal was to see if SLOG could help patients live longer without their cancer progressing.
