Summary
This study tested two different treatment approaches given before surgery for borderline pancreatic cancer. It compared giving patients a strong chemotherapy regimen alone versus adding radiation with chemotherapy before their operation. The goal was to see which approach better helped shrink tumors and allowed surgeons to completely remove all visible cancer during surgery, potentially improving survival.
