New combo therapy aims to halt pancreatic cancer progression

Summary
This study tests a two-step chemotherapy plan (Gemcitabine/Nab-paclitaxel followed by FOLFIRINOX) and then precise MRI-guided radiation for people with locally advanced pancreatic cancer that cannot be removed by surgery. The goal is to stop the cancer from growing for at least 4 months while keeping side effects manageable. About 103 adults aged 18-75 with good performance status are being recruited.
