New surgical technique aims to cut pancreatic cancer recurrence
NCT ID NCT04902352
Summary
This study is testing a specific surgical technique used during pancreatic cancer removal. It aims to see if carefully peeling tissue away from a key artery helps surgeons remove all the cancer, leaving a 'clean' border. The goal is to reduce the chance of cancer being left behind, which is linked to better survival. Researchers are comparing this technique to standard surgery in 102 patients.
