Summary
This study aims to understand if draining a blocked bile duct before pancreatic cancer surgery affects how the cancer spreads and patient survival. Researchers will review the medical records of over 90 patients who had surgery between 2014 and 2022, comparing those who had the drainage procedure to those who did not. The goal is to gather knowledge to inform future treatment decisions, but this study itself does not involve any new treatments or patient contact.
