New drug combo aims to keep deadly pancreatic cancer at bay

Summary

This study is testing whether adding a new drug called ivaltinostat to a standard chemotherapy pill (capecitabine) can help control advanced pancreatic cancer for longer. It's for patients whose cancer has not gotten worse after initial treatment with a strong chemotherapy regimen called FOLFIRINOX. The goal is to find a safe and effective maintenance treatment to delay the cancer's return or growth.
