Doctors test light therapy to fight tough pancreatic tumors
NCT ID NCT05919238
Summary
This early-stage study is testing a new procedure for people with advanced pancreatic cancer that cannot be removed by surgery. Doctors will deliver a special light-activated drug directly to the tumor's blood supply to try to destroy it. The main goals are to see if this approach is safe and to find the right light dose for future studies.
